The origin of the Trust lies in the philanthropic spirit of Smt. Gangamma and Sri. Thimmaiah, visionary industrialists whose humble beginnings and lack of access to quality education inspired them to uplift future generations.
• They constructed world-class educational infrastructure and donated it to the State Government, resulting in the establishment of Smt. Gangamma Thimmaiah Government School.
• Their contributions extended to hostels supporting underprivileged students with food, shelter, and schooling.
To carry forward their mission, the family established the Gangamma Thimmaiah Educational Trust (R) with the commitment to provide education from elementary levels to research standards, developing responsible global citizens rooted in human values.

TORY
G.T. Vidya Mandir began its journey in 2011 by starting Classes 1–5. In 2016–17, the institution expanded by upgrading to Classes 6–8, followed by the introduction of 9th and 10th Standard in 2019–20. The school started with 40 students on a 3-acre campus and has grown remarkably over the years. Today, it proudly stands with a strength of 350 students following the State syllabus, achieving 100% SSLC results consistently since its inception.
