G.T. Educational Trust was established to meet the dreams of our Smt.Gangamma & Sri.Thimmaiah who were industrialist having keen interest in the society. Particularly in the education sector having deprived of quality education in their lives prompted them to contribute to the promotion of education in all possible ways. The couple constructed world class infrastructure in their own land and gifted the same to the state Government to run the schools and colleges.
The state government in recognition of that gesture named the institution in our parents Smt. Gangamma Thimmaiah Govt School. The passionate couple also made large donations to hostels which provide food & shelter to poor students.
To carry on the dreams of the couple, their family has established Gangamma Thimmaiah Educational Trust (R), with a vision to offer quality education from elementary level to research level. The trust aims to offer education of international standards in various streams. The trust intends not just imparting education but seek to build character based on universal human values.
Further, we aim to benchmark ourselves on a national and global scale with the best management educational institutions, and become the institution-of-choice for best students from all the parts of the world. We have a new challenge in this globalized world. That is, we have to produce managers who can operate efficiently across the globe, who can excel in the multicultural environment, and who can negotiate confidently across cultures. In this era of digitalization it is extremely noteworthy that every student is moving forward with inbuilt capacity to perform under multifarious circumstances after having studied in this Institution which led by a able and daring administrator.
Our faculty members are well educated with extreme abilities to deliver the best at all levels. They are the blend of corporate and academic experience which makes it even more a lethal combination in the teaching world. Students keep up with the advancements in their field and general knowledge is commendable. I am sure that this is evidenced in their diverse contribution beat academics or extracurricular activities.
The magazine in its sixth year has been an eye opener for people from different walks of life. The magazine committee has taken due care to endow the magazine with a careful selection of photographs, articles, students performance sheets and other extracts. The ever growing demand for expertise is the need of the hour.

Warm Greetings to the respected teachers, parents and my dear friends. Today in the light of India going digital and techno savvy in most of the functional areas there is a need for global convergence of management education and practices and here I would like to emphasize the importance of education which is must to know by all of us. Education plays a great role in the life of everyone all through the life. Getting proper education is very necessary to get success and happy life just like food is necessary for healthy body. It is very important to live luxurious and better life. It develops personality of the people, provides physical and mental standard and transforms people’s living status. It promotes the feeling of physical, mental and social well being by providing better life. Good education is constructive in nature which constructs our future forever. It helps a person to improve his/her status of mind, body and spirit. It provides us lots of confidence by giving us bulk of knowledge in many field. It is a single and vital way to the success as well as personal growth.
The more knowledge we get, we grow and develop more in the life. Being well educated never only means to earn certificates and good salary from the recognized and reputed companies or institutions however it also means to be a good and social person in the life. It helps us to determine whether something is good or bad for us and other persons related to us. The first purpose of getting good education is being good citizen and then being successful in personal and professional life. We are incomplete without a good education because education makes us right thinker and correct decision maker. In such a competitive world, education has become a necessity for human beings after food, clothes and shelter. It is able to provide solutions to all problems; it promotes good habits and awareness about corruption, terrorism, and other social issues among us. Education is the most important tool which offers inner and outer strength to a person. Education is the fundamental rights of everyone and capable of bringing any desired change and upliftment in the human mind and society.
